AIR will release their fifth studio album later this year.

The French duo of Jean-Benoit Dunckel and Nicolas Godin will release, Love 2, in mid-October.

The album was produced by the band and recorded at the pairs own recording studio, Atlas, in northern Paris.

US-based drummer/percussionist Joey Waronker, and Stéphane ‘Alf’ Briat also came on board for the mix down at Atlas.

Air will release a taste of their new album with the release of a viral single, Do The Joy, on July 6.

The duo will release the album’s official first single, Sing Sang Sung, on August 24th.

Love 2 is the follow up to Air’s 2007 release, Pocket Symphony.
