Josh Pyke will auction off the guitar boat he drove in his Make You Happy music video next month.
The custom-made boat will go up for auction on ebay in February, with a majority of the proceeds going to the event Busking For Change.
“Seeing the guitar boat clip spread around the world has been one of the highlights of releasing this album so far,” Pyke said.
“I love the idea that its charm will now go towards helping something I’m passionate about. Later this year I’ll be launching an event called ‘Busking For Change’ in conjunction with the Indigenous Literacy Project, and the sale of the guitar boat will help to fund this.”
The guitar boat auction will go live on February 2, 2009 and end on Friday, February 12, 2009.
For your chance to own your very own guitar boat (there isn’t another like it!), head to:

The guitar boat will be on display at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Darling Harbour, Sydney, for the duration of the auction and following week.
More information will be available on ‘Busking For Change’ in the coming months, but please head to www.worldwithoutbooks.org for more information on the Indigenous Literacy Project.
The single, Make You Happy, has been lifted off Pyke’s latest album, Chimney’s Afire.
