The Lost Valentinos have released a taste of their debut album, with the release of a new single.

The Sydney band has release the new single, The Bismarck.

“The Bisma​rck​ represents the first​ bit of an album​ which​ has taken​ us a year to finis​h.​ A labou​r of love indee​d!​ Hope you like,” the band said.​

The single was produ​ced by Ewan Pears​on (Goldfrapp, The Rapture, Ladytron, M83).

Pearson worked with Lost Valentinos on their 2007 single, 17 Deaths.

It is not yet known when the band will release their much anticipated debut record.

Earlier this year, The Lost Valentinos travelled to Berlin and then to East London to complete the mixing stage of their debut record.

The new as yet titled album was produced by Bruno Ellingham (New Order, Goldfrapp, Spiritualized and KT Tunstall) at Miloco Studios.
