Thieves steal from Bumblebeez

Thieves reportedly cleaned out Chris Colonna’s studio, taking all of his studio equipment, instruments, and hard-drives.
“We got a buzz from a very distraught Bumblebeez frontman yesterday, apparently over the weekend Chris Colonna’s studio in Braidwood was broken into and the bastards stole everything but the kitchen sink,” Colonna’s label, Modular Records said.
“All of his studio equipment, instruments, and hard-drives containing years of work were knicked.”
“This is a down right low act and we are calling for anyone who has any information to contact authorities or drop us a line at editor@modularpeople.com - if you hear of any dodgy dealings in Braidwood, Canberra or even Melbourne and Sydney please let us know, we’d really like to see a smile back on Chris’ dial.”
Meanwhile, the Bumblebeez track Freak Ya Loneliness has been picked up by Nike in China for their Face Your Unknown campaign.
The ad will be aired until February of next year in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
The track has been lifted from the duo’s album, Prince Umberto and The Sister of Ill.
