Whitley plans follow up

The Sydney-based singer intends to record the follow up to his debut, The Submarine, in the coming months.
“The next album is coming along. I have all the songs, I just need to get the studio happening and a bunch of other crap that you don’t really care about,” the singer posted on his website.
Whitley aka Lawrence Greenwood is currently in the US on an extensive tour in support of Ben Kweller.
“I won’t bore you with the details on all the shows, but I will tell you with complete honesty that the crowds have been brilliant and the shows have been great,” Whitley said.
“My manager types tell me plenty of these ‘digital compact disk’ things are getting sold. So it will be no time at all and I should be hanging out with my three French lingerie-model-wives on my record setting maxi-yacht. Right?”
There is no confirmation as to when Whitley’s as yet titled new album will be released.
