Mick Turner will play a number of solo shows this month.

Turner, the guitarist with Aussie outfit Dirty Three, will play shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

He will perform the shows as the Tren Brothers with fellow Dirty Three drummer Jim White.

Last year Turner and White released the album Blue Trees.

As well as touring his music, Turner will also use time in Sydney to present an art show entitled Nudes, Beasts, Angels, Flowers, a Birth, a Death and Trips to the Ocean.

Turner has exhibited regularly in Australia and overseas with his artwork gracing the covers of Dirty Three and Tren Brothers albums.

The exhibition launches on Thursday 16th of October at 6pm.
