Tickets to this year’s Falls Festival are hot property with the event’s Victorian leg completely selling out.

With 80 per cent of this year’s tickets allocated to subscribers to the festival’s website, the vast majority of tickets were snapped in a matter of minutes, according to The Falls organisers.

“All tickets for The Falls Festival in Lorne have completely sold out. Limited tickets are still available for the beautiful Marion Bay in Tasmania,” organisers said.

Franz Ferdinand is set to headline the December festival.

The Scottish outfit will be joined by The Hives, Eli ‘Paperboy’ Reed & The True Loves, The Cat Empire, The Kooks, The Grates, Gomez, Tegan & Sara, Faker, SoKo, Donavon Frankenreiter, Jamie Lidell, TZU, Mystery Jets, Architecture in Helsinki, Atmosphere featuring Brother Ali, The Drones, The Dodo’s, Wolf & Cub & Liam Finn, Augie March, Late Of The Pier, A-Trak, Rocket Science, Ash Grunwald, Labjacd, TinPan Orange.

Tickets to the festival are available through a ballot from www.fallsfestival.com.au.
