Spod overcomes disaster with new album

The Sydney artist will release Superfrenz on September 20.
Spod spent more than three years working on the new self-funded album.
The album almost didn’t make it, neither did Spod when the album’s finished product was lost when both the album and back up hard drives died.
It wasn’t until a fundraiser was organised to help fund new hard drives and studio time that Spod resumed work on Superfrenz.
“This destruction and reconstruction process of this album has resulted in an album much more evolved, adventurous & musically involved, spanning and capturing the magic of what makes Spod, SPOD,” a statement from Spod’s management said.
Superfrenz is out on September 27 through Valve/ Rice Is Nice and MGM.
