Jet back in the studio

“We’re in the studio working hard on our third record,” a note on the Melbourne band’s official website said.
Little is known about what direction the band’s new album will take or who they have hired as producer.
The album is apparently being recorded in Atlantic Sound Studios in New York City. It is expected to be released later this year, according to the band’s Wikipedia page.
Earlier this year, Jet collaborated with Iggy Pop on an upcoming tribute album for the late Australian rock n roller, Johnny O’Keefe.
Jet and the US singer recorded a version of O’Keefe’s hit, The Wild One.
Jet and Iggy Pop’s version of ‘The Wild One’ will be included as a bonus track on ‘Johnny O’Keefe – The Wild One’, which was released last week.
