The Vines end tour drought

Posted on 21 August 2008 by Kate Kachor

The Vines will break a four year tour drought when they head out on a national Australian tour later this year.

The Sydney band will head out on their first national tour in more than four years in October and November.

The tour is in support of the band’s new studio album, Melodia.

“We can’t wait to get on stage and do it properly for all of our fans,” singer Craig Nicholls said.

“We feel really good about the live show at the moment, and now with four albums to pick the set from it’s going to be great to change the show a little bit every night. Let US entertain YOU.”

The Vines will release the second single off their new album in the coming months to coincide with the tour.

The single, Get Out, is the follow up to the record’s debut single, He’s A Rocker.

Melodia is the follow up to The Vines’ 2005 album, Vision Valley.
