Josh Pyke has release the first single off his new album.

The Sydney-based singer has released ‘The Lighthouse Song’ to his myspace.com/joshpyke page.

The single has been lifted off Pyke’s new album, Chimney’s Afire.

Pyke intends to road test material off the new album this September.

Newcastle band Firekites will join Pyke on his tour.

The shows will be the singer’s first since his Memories & Dust tour earlier this year.

Pyke released his debut album, Memories & Dust, in 2007.
