British India has scored a stellar debut on the local album charts for their new album.

The Melbourne band’s second album, Thieves, debuted at the top of the local independent AIR charts.

Thieves also debuted just behind Coldplay and The Living End at the number five spot on the Australian ARIA charts.

Thieves is the follow up British India’s 2007 debut, Guillotine.

British India are currently touring the country in support of Thieves. See below for dates.
