Melanie Horsnell has been named as the key support act for Jason Mraz’s upcoming Australian tour.

The Sydney singer was personally selected by the US-based Mraz to act as the main support on his August tour.

Commenting on Horsnell, Mraz said: “She’s got great lyrics and a soulful and artsy voice”.

Mraz will kick off his Australian tour in Perth at the Capitol on Wednesday 6th August.

The tour will then head to Sydney, Melbourne and end in Brisbane on Thursday 14th August.

Mraz will bring his third studio album, ‘We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things’ with him on tour.
