Missy Higgins has joined US musician Brett Dennen in the studio to add vocals to his upcoming new record.

The Melbourne singer followed Dennen into the studio after supporting him on his recent American tour.

Dennen will bring his new album to Australia later this year, with a limted date tour having just been announced for September.

The tour will see Dennen support Pete Murray, as well as perform a string of solo shows.

The new album is the follow up to last year’s release, ‘So Much More’.
