Great Escape adds to its line-up

A strong mixture of international and local bands have been named as part of the second round line-up for this year’s Great Escape Festival.

UK outfit The Futureheads have been named alongside Mount Eerie (US), and TeenagersInTokyo (UK).

On the local front Perth band Tame Impala will join I Heart Hiroshima, Mission Control, Dash & Will, Young & Restless, The Ned Collette Band, Sophie Koh, The Temper Trap, Cloud Control, Machine Translations, Trial Kennedy, Laura Imbruglia, George Byrne, Guy Blackman, and Emily Ulman at the festival.

Pixies member Frank Black will headline the October festival with his outfit, Black Francis.

Black was last in the country in March touring the Australian leg of the V Festival with a reformed Pixies outfit.
