Posted on 11 July 2008 by Kate Kachor
The Melbourne band will release the single, The Minotaur as a digital single from July 29.
The single has been lifted off the band’s fourth studio album, Havilah.
Havilah was recorded in a mud brick house in Victoria. It was produced by The Drones and Burke Reid (The Mess Hall, Gerling).
It is the follow up to The Drones, AMP (Australian Music Price) award nominated album, Gala Mill (2006) and AMP winning record, Wait Long By The River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float By (2005).
The Drones intend to head out on a national Australian tour in October. Dates for the tour are yet to be released.
The Drones’ new album, Havilah, will be released on September 20 through ATP Recordings and MGM Distribution.
