Holly Throsby will make her way to the UK for a solo tour next month before returning home for one of her biggest Australian tours to date.

The Sydney singer will tour both her UK and homecoming shows in support of her new album, A Loud Call.

Throsby will support fellow Aussies Paul Kelly and then Tim Rogers in the UK in early August.

She will return home mid-way through August for her Australian national tour.

The 20 date tour starts in Alice Springs on August 22nd and winds down in Cairns in mid-October.

Bree van Reyk and Jens Birchall will join Throsby on tour. Between them, the three piece play eleven instruments.

Throsby’s new album, A Loud Call, was recorded in Nashville with engineer and producer Mark Nevers [Lambchop, Will Oldham].

It includes guest performances by Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, and members of Lambchop and Silver Jews.
