The Living End has announced they will head out on a national Australian tour later this year.

The Melbourne trio will tour their new album, White Noise, throughout September and October.

White Noise is due for release on July 19.

The Living End recorded their new album with Sonic Youth producer John Agenllo.

Agenllo (Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jnr, The Hold Steady) and the Melbourne band recorded the album at Water Music Studios in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The album is the follow up from the band’s 2006 release, State of Emergency.
