Shihad have toned things down on their latest album.
The once sexed up, glaring guitar band has been given a spit and polish on Beautiful Machine.
It’s a shame really. There was something so primal and delicious about singer John Toogood screaming his way through records.
Now it seems the closest he and his merry men will come to fiery is if they find a lukewarm beer sitting too long outside the chilly bin (aka esky).
