Tickets to Vampire Weekend’s Australian club shows sold out in record time, prompting the band to announce a second show.

The New York-based band sold out their first Australian shows yesterday, just an hour and a half after tickets went on sale.

A second and final show has been added in Melbourne for Thursday 7 August.

Melbourne outfit, Little Red, has been selected to play support on Vampire Weekend’s August tour.
