Former Go-Betweens member Robert Forster will head out on tour later this year.

The tour is in support of Forster’s new album, The Evangelist.

Forster released The Evangelist in April.

The album features three songs co-written by former Go-Betweens member Grant McLennan. These include the track, Demon Days, the last song the pair wrote together. McLennan died in his sleep at his home in Brisbane on 6 May 2006. He was 48.

Forster is best known for his work with songwriting partner Grant McLennan. The pair co-founded Brisbane outfit, The Go-Betweens.
