British India is close to finishing off their much anticipated second full length studio album.

The Melbourne band will release the track listing and title of their second album in a few weeks time.

“Our second album is approaching completion with such a fevering hastiness,” the band wrote on their myspace.com/britishindia page.

“Declan is currently singing the last bits of singing, and clapping the final claps with the rest of us surrounding him rather boringly pushing buttons… (Both metaphorically and literally)..”

As well as uncovering the album’s title, British India, are close to announcing a string of dates for the album launch tour.

British India headed into the studio in March to begin work on the follow up to their 2007 debut album, Guilltone.
