Weezer scores early release

Weezer will release their much anticipated new album next month.

The US band were due to release their new self-titled album later in the year, though the album’s release date has been moved up by three weeks.
The album will now be released on June 7.
Despite the new album being self-titled, it is being referred to as ‘Red Album’.
Red Album was produced by the band, Rick Rubin and Jacknife Lee (U2, R.E.M).
The first single off the album, Pork and Beans, has already been released to radio.
Weezer’s new album, Weezer (Red Album) will be released on June 7.
