Ladyhawke is expected to release her long awaited debut album later this year.

The London-based New Zealander has slanted a September release for the album.

Ladyhawke aka Pip Brown will release the first single off the new album in June.

The single, Back Of The Van, will also feature remixes by Fred Falke and Mock & Toof.

In February Ladyhawke inked a deal with independent Australian record label, Modular Records.

The singer now joins the same stable as Cut Copy, Wolfmother, The Presets and Klaxons, among others.
