Cut off Your Hands cancel festival gig

Posted on 12 May 2008 by Kate Kachor

Overseas recording commitments have forced Cut Off Your Hands to pull out of this year’s Come Together Festival.

The New Zealand band were due to perform at the June festival, though recording work on their debut album and tour commitments will keep the band in the UK longer than anticipated.

Sydney outfit Bluejuice has been named as the band’s replacement.

Cut Off Your Hands announced earlier this year they had began planning for their debut studio album.

The band has re-teamed with Bernard Butler on the new album. Butler produced the band 2007 EP, Blue On Blue.

The band released the first single off the new album Oh Girl in April.

Cut Off Your Hands expects to have their debut album ready by August.
