Tricky will release his first studio album in five years this July.

The UK trip hop singer will release, Knowle West Boy, on July 5. The album is Tricky’s first since 2003’s Vulnerable.

The first single off the album, ‘Council Estate’, will be available a few weeks earlier on June 21.

Knowle West Boy was recorded in London and Los Angeles. The album was produced by Tricky aka Adrian Thaws with Switch on additional production and mixing duties.

Tricky will be able to road test the new album on an Australian audience later this year when he performs as part of the Splendour In The Grass festival over the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd in Bryon Bay.

As well as being available in album form, Knowle West Boy, will be available as a digital download from www.knowlewestboy.com on June 21.
