The Red Paintings kicked off their first headlining tour of the US this week.

The Queensland outfit begun a three week tour throughout the West Coast of America earlier this week.

As well as playing headlining shows, The Red Paintings will perform as part of Musexpo in Hollywood.

The US tour is the first American tour for the band since 2006.

Earlier this month The Red Paintings put out the call to “human canvases and painters” based in the US to be involved in their shows.

Support for most shows will be Linda Strawberry featuring Audrey Kitching.
