The Scare changes tactics

The Sydney band were due to head back to the Europe this month to head out on tour with Blood Red Shoes as well as play a number of solo dates, but have since changed their minds.
“We are staying in Australia until our next album is completed, which is fucking exciting because we have a 24 hour practice space that we share with the smashing Bridezilla that looks over the beautiful Sydney City,” the band posted on their myspace.com/thescare page.
“As soon as we are complete, we will be back over for an extended period of time.”
The Scare will take some time out from writing the follow up to their 2007 debut album, Chivalry, next month.
“Writing is going well and it is nice to spend some time on getting songs sounding to their full potential, which in the past has been really difficult because we have been constantly moving, unsettled and probably out of it. Show wise we are doing a few more shows in Australia over May/June,” the band said.
