British India has been named the support act for UK band Stereophonics’ upcoming tour.

The Melbourne band will support Stereophonics in Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane this May.

Stereophonics last toured Australia in 2005. They bring with them their sixth studio release, Pull The Pin.

Formed in Wales in 1996, Stereophonics are Kelly Jones, Richard Jones and Javier Weyler.

Last year, British India released their debut album, Guillotine.
