Little Birdy has begun demo work on new tracks for their upcoming new album.

“We’ve now been locked away in our rehearsal room for 2 weeks and everything couldn’t be better,” the band posted on their myspace.com/littlebirdy page.

The Perth band are working on the follow up to their 2006 record, Hollywood.

“I think we have started around 10 songs and all are sounding amazing already. All the songs are taking us on a new and exciting path and we’re feeling super inspired and creative,” they said.

Little Birdy expect to release a number of new demoes to their myspace page and website in the coming weeks.

There has been no confirmation as to when the band’s new album will be released.
