Whitley is gearing up for his biggest ever Australian tour.

The Sydney singer will tour the country in May playing shows in both capital cities and regional centres.

He will be joined on tour by Howie Day (US) and Seagull.

Whitley is currently in the US as part of his six week tour and will return home at the end of April.

According to Whitley’s management, one of the highlights of his US tour included performing with his songwriting idol, Mason Jennings.

The singer also apparently created the world’s first sit down mosh pit at this year’s Port Fairy Festival.
