Aussie bands support film industry

A number of local bands have lent their support to Australia’s film industry, in the form of a film sound track.

As reported last week, Paul Mac and Bertie Blackman have recorded a new track, The Only One, for new film, Hey Hey It’s Esther Blueburger.

Among other acts to join the sound track include Bob Evans, Missy Higgins, Operator Please, and Sara Stoner.

The film stars Toni Collette (Little Miss Sunshine, In Her Shoes) and Keisha Castle-Hughes (Whale Rider) and opens in cinemas on March 20.
