Cog will return to the local live scene later this year bringing with them their new studio album.

The Sydney band will release their second album, Sharing Space, on April 12.

Cog will head out on their Sharing Space Tour this coming May and June.

As well as a new tour, Cog are set for the release of their second single, Bird Of Feather.

Commenting on the new single, Cog front man Flynn Gower said: “That’s the heart of the song there – that conundrum, that question that faces all of us. On one hand you need to pay the bills, on the other you need to nurture the relationships with people. Everyone is having to work harder, longer and smarter and in most cases both parents, just to get by. It’s a consequence of the global predicament that everyone sees less of each other.”

Cog’s new album was recorded at RadioStar Studios in Weed, CA US. It was produced by the band, Sylvia Massy, Richard Veltrop and Jim Wood and mixed by Veltrop, Massy, Maor Appelbaum, Cecil Gregory and the band.
