Ladyhawke has inked a deal with independent Australian record label, Modular Records.

The New Zealand singer now joins the same stable as Cut Copy, Wolfmother, and Klaxons, among others.

The deal will see the release of Ladyhawke’s single, Back Of The Van, later this year. A full length album is expected to shortly follow the single.

Ladyhawke is singer Pip Browne, a New Zealander who splits her time between the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
