Ladytron will release their fourth album, Velocifero, in the coming months.

The UK outfit will release the album in Australia through Nettwerk Music and Shock on May 31.

Recorded in Paris, Velocifero was produced by Ladytron with additional production from Alessandro Cortini (Nine Inch Nails) and Vicarious Bliss of Ed Banger Records (Justice, DJ Mehdi, Busy P); the album was mixed by Michael Patterson (Beck, P Diddy).

Velocifero is the follow up to the band’s 2005 release Witching Hour.

While no dates are finalised, Ladytron is planning a worldwide tour, including Australia, for the rest of this year and into 2009.
