Mountain Goats tour with new album

The US band will tour this April with bass player Peter Hughes and drummer Jon Wurster. They will also bring with them their new album, Heretic Pride.
Heretic Pride contains 13 songs written in a wide variety of places including Fairbanks, Stockholm, Seattle, San Francisco, and Durham, North Carolina.
The album also features long time collaborator Peter Hughes, John Wurster, Franklin Bruno on piano and Erik Friedlander on cello.
St.Vincent’s Annie Clarke adds some guitar with backing vocals by Rachel Ware Zooi and original bass player Sarah Arslanian.
Heretic Pride was produced by Scott Solter and John Vanderslice who also contributed some additional percussion (Solter) and some synth (Vanderslice).
The album was recorded by Solter along with Aaron Prellwitz at Prairie Sun and was also mixed by Solter.
The Mountain Goats, Heretic Pride, is out on Feb 16 through 4AD/ Remote Control Records.
