Finn scores US debut

Liam Finn has scored a top 20 debut on the US billboard charts with his debut solo record, I’ll Be Lightning.

The New Zealand singer’s album debuted at number 13 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
He has already been included in US Rolling Stone’s ’10 Artists To Watch in 2008’ list, as well as Boston Globe’s ‘8 To Watch in 08’ and E! Online’s “Stars To Watch in 2008”.
Finn is also set to appear on US talkshow, the Late Show with David Letterman later this month. He will perform his latest single, Second Chance.
While in the US, Finn will perform at this years ‘SxSW music festival. The performance is part of his US tour which runs from mid-February until the end of April.
Finn’s debut album, I’ll Be Lightning, is out now through Liberation.
