The Vines put last touches on album four

Posted on 04 February 2008 by admin

The Vines are expected to finishing recording their fourth full-length album later this month.

The five-piece began work on the album in Los Angeles late last year before taking a break over Christmas.

“The guys took 3 weeks off in the middle of recording to come home for Christmas and get new visas, then Craig and Ryan went back in to the studio at the start of this week (Jan. 14) to finish off guitars and for Craig to finish vocals, so they’re still making fast progress,” the band’s manager Andy Kent said.

The Vines will also hopefully finish mixing the new album this month.

Commenting on how the new album is panning out, Vines member Hamish Rosser said: “It’s been by far the smoothest and easiest album sessions that I’ve ever been involved in thanks to the huge amount of rehearsal that we put in before entering the studio.

The Vines as yet titled new album will be the follow up to their 2006 release, Vision Valley.
