Midnight Juggernauts will join the likes of Kraftwerk and Battles as part of the line up for this year’s Coachella music festival.

The US festival will also feature Portishead, Roger Waters (“Dark Side of the Moon”), The Verve, The Breeders, M.I.A, and My Morning Jacket.

The Melbourne trio’s inclusion in the festival comes close on the heels of the worldwide release of their debut album, Dystopia.

Coachella will be held from 25 April to 27 April in Indio, California, which forms part of the Colorado Desert.

Before their Coachella debut, Midnight Juggernauts will play a final string of Australian shows before relocating to Europe for extensive touring in 2008.

Joining them for an East Coast tour is critically acclaimed French outfit M83, on their first ever visit to Australia.
