It’s really hard to figure out if Ben Lee is taking the piss or just being a bit of a joker.
One minute the guy equates love with being a disease and now he’s asking everyone to love him like the world is ending. What a trip!
Ripe is quite a mystery really. The album plays out like a being at a jumble sale, there are absolute gems and then there’s the puzzle with the crucial piece missing.
